Terms of Service

Effective November 6, 2026

The short version

  • You must be 18 or older to play.
  • Kief and every other virtual item have no cash value and can't be traded or cashed out.
  • Purchases and refunds go through Apple. If a purchase is refunded, what it delivered is taken back.
  • Grow Raiders is a game. Never use it to buy, sell or arrange anything real, including cannabis.
  • Play fair and be decent to other players. The community guidelines are part of these Terms.

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Venture Deals, Co., a California company ("we", "us"), which makes and publishes Grow Raiders. They cover the Grow Raiders app and its online services (together, "the game").

By installing or playing the game, you agree to these Terms, to our privacy policy, which explains how we handle your information, and to our community guidelines, which are part of these Terms. If you don't agree, don't install or play the game. Your license to the app itself comes from the store you got it from: on the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"); these Terms add the rules of the game and of our service.

2. Who can play

  • You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to make a binding contract where you live. If you are 18 or older but under the age of majority where you live (19 in some Canadian provinces and territories), you may play only if your parent or guardian agrees to these Terms for you.
  • The game asks for your date of birth on first launch. Giving a false date of birth breaks these Terms.
  • The game is offered in the United States and Canada. You may not play where the law forbids it, or if we have banned you before.

3. Your Grow Op and login

The game signs you in with an anonymous login stored by the app on your device, with no email or password. Keep your device and the app's data safe: if you lose them, we may not be able to give your Grow Op back, and moving a Grow Op to a new device isn't available in this version. You are responsible for what happens on your Grow Op. You may not sell, share or transfer your Grow Op, or buy or use someone else's.

4. Your license to the game

As long as you follow these Terms, we give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to download and use the game for your own non-commercial entertainment on devices you own or control. For the App Store version, that means Apple-branded products, as the App Store's Usage Rules allow (see App Store terms). The game is licensed to you, not sold.

You may not:

  • copy, change, distribute, rent, sell or sublicense the game;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where the law allows this despite this limit;
  • use cheats, bots, scripts, mods, hacked or unofficial versions of the app, or exploits;
  • interfere with, overload or try to get unauthorized access to our servers or other players' Grow Ops;
  • use the game for any commercial purpose.

5. Kief and other virtual items

The game has virtual items, including Kief (the game's premium currency), Cash, Nutrients, Seeds, Buds and Inbox rewards, and any Cosmetics or Season Pass the game offers.

  • No cash value. Virtual items have no real-world value. They can't be redeemed or exchanged for money, real goods, services or anything outside the game, and they aren't refunded when they are used or lost, except where the law requires it. You get a limited license to use them in the game; you don't own them.
  • Not transferable. You can't sell, trade, give or transfer virtual items to other players or outside the game, except through features the game itself offers.
  • Exactly what you see. Every Shop offer shows exactly what it contains before you buy. Nothing in the Shop is random, and Seeds are never sold.
  • Nothing paid expires. Kief, Kief Drip days and Inbox rewards wait until you claim them.
  • Raids. Kief can never be stolen in a Raid. Cash and Nutrients can be: that's part of the game.
  • Game balance. We may change how virtual items work in the game, for example what something costs in Kief. We won't take away virtual items you bought, except as these Terms describe (refund clawback, termination or the end of the game).
  • If the game ends. If we ever shut the game down, we'll tell you in the game in advance. Virtual items, including unused Kief, end with the game and are not refunded, except where the law requires it.

6. Purchases and refunds

  • Through the store. Purchases are made through Apple's App Store (and, once the Android version is released, Google Play), under the store's own terms and payment methods. We never receive your payment details. Prices are shown by the store, in your currency.
  • Receiving purchases. We deliver a purchase once our server has confirmed it with the store. Each purchase is delivered once. If something doesn't arrive, see Support.
  • Restore. Use Restore purchases in the Shop to bring back purchases that can be restored.
  • Refunds. Refunds are handled by the store you paid: for the App Store, request one from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue App Store refunds ourselves. Nothing in these Terms limits refund rights you have under the law.
  • Refund clawback. When a store refunds a purchase, we remove what it delivered: the refunded Kief is removed from your balance down to zero, never below, and any refunded Season Pass, Garden Club perk or Cosmetic is removed. A partial refund removes the same share of the Kief. What you already spent the refunded Kief on (such as Speed-ups, Contractors and Top-ups) stays. A notice in your Inbox tells you when a refund was processed. If the store reverses a refund, we give back what we removed. We review Grow Ops that have 3 or more refunds.

7. No cannabis, no real-world deals

Grow Raiders is a game set in a cartoon, legal-grow world. Nothing in it is real cannabis, and nothing in it is instructions for growing cannabis. We don't sell, advertise, link to or arrange the sale of cannabis or any other real-world goods through the game.

You may not use chat, names, Crews or any other part of the game to buy, sell, trade, deliver or arrange anything in the real world, including cannabis, or to share contact details for that purpose. You may not buy, sell or trade Grow Ops, Kief or other virtual items for real money or anything else of value outside the game.

8. Playing fair and chat

Treat other players with respect and play fair. In short: no harassment or hate, no sharing personal information, no links or phone numbers, no buying or selling anything real, and no cheating. The community guidelines have the full rules and the consequences of breaking them.

Our server checks every Raid and Mission result automatically, and checks chat messages and names wherever the game has them. We may review, block, mask or remove content, and mute or ban players, to keep the game safe.

9. Your content

"Your content" means your Grow Op's layout and, wherever the game lets you add them, your grower name, the name and description of any Crew you create, your chat messages and the Replays you share. You keep whatever rights you have in it.

You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license (which we may pass to our service providers) to host, store, copy, display, transmit and format your content to run, moderate and improve the game. This includes showing your Grow Op to players who Scout or Raid it, making Replays, using a saved copy of your Grow Op's layout as a Raid target, and showing your grower name in rankings. The license ends when your content is deleted from the game, except for copies we must keep for safety or legal reasons, or that sit in backups for a short time.

Your content must follow these Terms and must not break anyone else's rights. We may refuse, filter or remove any content.

10. Changes to the game

Grow Raiders is a live online game. We may add, change or remove features, content and balance, and we may require you to update the app to keep playing. The game needs an internet connection and may sometimes be unavailable, for example during maintenance or while Raids are paused.

11. Suspension and termination

You can stop playing at any time and delete your Grow Op in the app's Settings (see Delete account).

We may warn, mute, suspend or close a Grow Op, or remove virtual items gained through cheating, bugs or fraud, if these Terms or the community guidelines are broken, if the law requires it, or to protect players or the game. If we close your Grow Op because you broke these Terms, you lose access to its virtual items without a refund, except where the law requires one. If you think we made a mistake, write to support@growraiders.com.

Sections that by their nature should last after these Terms end (such as sections 5, 7, 9 and 12 to 20) still apply.

12. Our property

The game, including its art, characters, Strains, Big Weed, music, text, software and trademarks, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. Big Weed and the other companies in the game are made up; any resemblance to a real company is coincidence. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, without owing you anything.

13. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent the law allows, the game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the game will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free, or that no data will be lost.

Some places don't allow these exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we and our officers, employees and suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill or virtual items, arising from the game or these Terms. Our total liability for all claims is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for purchases in the game in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50.

These limits don't apply where the law doesn't allow them, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and they don't take away rights that consumer protection laws give you.

15. Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover our losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, from claims by others that arise from your breaking these Terms or from your content. This doesn't apply to consumers in places, such as Quebec, where the law doesn't allow it.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be decided by the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.

If you live in Canada, or anywhere else whose laws give you protections that a contract can't take away, those protections still apply, and you may be able to bring a claim where you live (consumers in Quebec, for example, in Quebec). Before going to court, please write to us so we can try to fix the problem. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll change the effective date at the top and, for changes that matter to you, tell you in the game or on this page at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep playing after a change takes effect, the new Terms apply. If you don't agree with them, stop playing and delete your Grow Op.

18. App Store terms

If you got the app from Apple's App Store, these terms also apply, and they take priority over anything in these Terms that conflicts with them:

  1. Acknowledgement. These Terms are between you and Venture Deals, Co. only, not Apple. Venture Deals, Co., not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content. These Terms don't set usage rules that conflict with the App Store's terms of service.
  2. Scope of license. Your license is a non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the app may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with the purchaser through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
  3. Maintenance and support. We alone are responsible for providing maintenance and support for the app, as described in these Terms or required by law. Apple has no obligation at all to provide maintenance or support for the app.
  4. Warranty. We alone are responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent they are not effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) of the app to you. To the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses caused by a failure to conform to a warranty are our sole responsibility.
  5. Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app or your possession or use of it, including (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws. These Terms don't limit our liability to you beyond what the law allows.
  6. Intellectual property rights. If a third party claims that the app, or your possession and use of it, infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of that claim.
  7. Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a US Government embargo, or that has been designated by the US Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  8. Developer name and contact. Questions, complaints or claims about the app go to Venture Deals, Co., California, USA, at support@growraiders.com.
  9. Third-party terms. When you use the app, you must follow any third-party agreements that apply to you, such as your mobile carrier's data plan terms.
  10. Third-party beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. When you accept these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.

19. Google Play terms

When the Android version is released, purchases made through Google Play are also subject to Google Play's terms. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the game.

20. General

  • These Terms, the privacy policy and the community guidelines are the whole agreement between you and us about the game.
  • If part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • If we don't enforce a part of these Terms right away, we can still enforce it later.
  • We may transfer these Terms to a company that takes over the game. You may not transfer them.
  • Nothing in these Terms makes either of us the other's partner, employee or agent.
